Paper Mache made Easy
Most of us think that paper mache is hard to do. We have this preconceived notion that only the creative and the hardworking would have a beautiful output in a paper mache project. This is already our mindset even before we try working on paper mache.
But wonder no more, as today you would learn how to make a paper mache, the easy way. Did you know that the paper mache is considered as the easiest way to create anything from extremely detailed sculptures and art works to the brightly colored but ultimately doomed party piñata? Paper maches are also known to be cheap so you don’t really have to worry about the materials that you need to use.
Paper mache is a French word which means “chewed-up paper”. This art has been around for as long as paper itself and it has been widely used in many ancient cultures to express themselves and make wonderful paper products. People make creative decorative boxes, picture frames and other stuff out of paper mache. It was even used to add decorations to armors and weapons back then.
Although things are becoming modern nowadays and more and more materials are now available in our midst to help us create the usual boxes and picture frames, paper mache is still alive and very much useful in our generation. It is often used to make wonderful party piñata’s and cute piggy banks.
